Casa College was established in 1997 and KASA High School in 1961. They share an address and an owner in Nicosia, and between them cover hospitality and tourism from school level through to a master’s degree.

Courses

• MSc Hospitality & Tourism — 3 semesters
• Hotel Administration, bachelor’s level — 4 years
• Cruise Ship Hospitality Operations certificate — 1 year
• Foundation — 1 year
• KASA High School: Hotel Management & Catering Supervision — 1–2 years, taught in English on a curriculum approved by the Cyprus Ministry of Education

Entry requirements

• A minimum of 60% on the high school leaving certificate for the bachelor’s, the Cruise Ship certificate and the Foundation
• A recognised bachelor’s degree for the MSc — preferably in hospitality, tourism, business, management, HR, economics, social sciences or marketing
• English: IELTS 5 / TOEFL iBT 71 / PTE 58 / Password 5.5 for the main programmes; IELTS 4 / TOEFL iBT 42 / PTE 43 for the Foundation
• KASA takes students aged 17–21 who have completed at least grade 10, at 60% GPA, after an online English interview

Intakes

Fall only for the bachelor’s and the Cruise Ship certificate. All original documents must reach Cyprus by the third Monday of August each year. Deadlines vary from one intake to the next and the Admissions Department notifies them by email, so we check the current position for you.

Documents and attestation

KASA’s online interview is a real filter, not a formality. It runs on Microsoft Teams on Mondays and Tuesdays, with links sent each Friday, and is graded 1–10 — a score of 1–5 ends the application, while 6–10 brings a formal offer within 24 hours. Marks are given for English fluency, vocabulary and grammar, coherence, confidence, punctuality and a working camera and microphone, knowledge of the programme and of Cyprus, a clear future plan, and professional appearance. A student who misses their first interview gets one more chance only.

Worth knowing before you commit

• Casa students may work up to 20 hours a week in term time and up to 38 hours during official holidays.
• The college arranges summer placements in four- and five-star hotels.
• A free airport transfer runs from Larnaca to Nicosia, but it must be requested at least 48 hours ahead — students who turn up expecting it on the day will not get it.
• The college’s own handbook prints both “BA” and “BSc” for Hotel Administration, so we describe it as bachelor’s level until the college confirms which award is correct.
