Entry requirements

• A minimum of 50% GPA at both 10th and 12th grade
• English: IELTS 4 / TOEFL iBT 42 / PTE 43 for the Foundation; IELTS 5 / TOEFL iBT 71 / PTE 58 for diplomas, bachelor’s degrees and the MBA
• The Cardiff Met LL.M needs IELTS 6.0, a bachelor’s at 2:2, a personal statement, a CV and two references
• The MBA asks for the same personal statement, CV and two references alongside a 2:2 bachelor’s

Intakes

February, June and October, in line with the Cyprus academic calendar — the college’s own application form offers Spring, Summer and Fall. It sets its own cut-off for each intake, so we confirm the current one before you apply.

Documents and attestation

Indian nationals must apostille their visa documents; applicants from Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Bhutan attest theirs at the nearest Cyprus Embassy or Consulate instead. Pakistani and Egyptian passports do not need attestation, and proof of English needs none because international certificates are verified online. The police clearance must come from the Passport Office for Indian nationals and be under six months old; the medical report must be under four months and cover HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C by blood test plus a chest X-ray for tuberculosis. Master’s applicants also submit an attested bachelor’s degree and transcript. Two passport photographs are needed with the name written on the back, along with a signed declaration form, and non-government documents must show the name and phone number of whoever issued them.

Worth knowing before you commit

• Part of the tuition must be transferred to the college before the application can be submitted. The college’s checklist is explicit that no visa is issued without the transfer statement and receipt.
• At the airport students must be able to show a copy of the visa, the tuition fee receipt, and cash.
• Students from some countries, including Pakistan and Bangladesh, also need a passport stamp from the Cyprus Consulate after the visa is issued.
