INTI International University & Colleges
UK, US and Australian degrees studied entirely in Malaysia.
NILAI, SUBANG JAYA, PENANG AND SABAH, MALAYSIA
INTI runs four campuses in Malaysia and its real draw is the partner list: a degree from the University of Hertfordshire, Coventry University, Sheffield Hallam University, Southern New Hampshire University or Swinburne University of Technology, studied in Malaysia on a 3+0 or 4+0 route rather than abroad.

Entry requirements
- Certified true copies of your academic qualifications, with translations where they are not in English
- Certified true copies of an English proficiency certificate — TOEFL or IELTS — where applicable. The guide sets no minimum band
- A passport with at least 18 months validity
- Applicants without an accepted English certificate sit a placement test on arrival
Intakes
INTI does not publish a fixed intake calendar in its international guide. What it is explicit about is timing: submit your application with the required documents to an INTI representative at least eight weeks before the intake date, because the student visa is then processed through EMGS and that takes a further six to eight weeks. We confirm the current intake dates for your chosen programme and campus before you apply.
How you apply
- Application and documents submitted to an INTI representative, at least eight weeks before the intake
- INTI issues an Offer Letter and files your student visa with Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) on your behalf — roughly six to eight weeks
- The electronic Student Visa Approval Letter (e-VAL) is emailed to you
- A prepaid fee equivalent to the first semester secures your enrolment
- The single-entry visa is obtained through eVisa
- The Malaysian Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) is filled in online within three days before you travel, unless your nationality is exempt
- Arrival, then post-arrival clearance and registration
Documents and attestation
Certified true copies of academic qualifications and, where applicable, English proficiency certificates go to the International Office. If an application is unsuccessful INTI informs you in writing. The guide states plainly that published costs and document lists are estimates and that INTI may revise them, so we check the current position with the college rather than relying on a printed guide.
Worth knowing before you commit
- Airport pickup by an INTI representative is mandatory — it is part of immigration clearance, not a convenience.
- Medical screening must be completed within seven days of arrival, and the passport is submitted for the student pass shortly after.
- Accommodation is arranged through INTI or with private owners and agents. At Nilai and Subang Jaya the tenancy runs per semester or six months; at Penang the minimum is one year.
- Campuses are at Putra Nilai, Subang Jaya, Penang and Sabah, and the programme mix differs by campus — the partner university you want may only be available at one of them.
- Visa Connection is in discussion with INTI and does not yet hold a signed agent authorisation with them, unlike our Cyprus institutions. We will tell you exactly where that stands before you commit to anything.
Fees, deposits and living costs are set by the institution and change — we go through the current figures for your chosen course and intake at your consultation.
